Projects in progress or under review
Uganda and Tanzania
Several drinking water projects in Uganda (3 schools) and Tanzania (1 school) show a similar challenge: the available water quantities are not sufficient to reliably supply the facilities with water throughout the year. Drilling or water pipes to water ponds or small rivers nearby would be a prerequisite for aqua pura to become active with a drinking water treatment plant.
We are in contact with other organizations to possibly arrange financing for the water supply.
Cameroon
The organization Dai in Cameroon is planning to supply an entire village with drinking water. In accordance with our standard procedure, clarifications are currently underway for a first sub-project as a pilot. The population has already been actively involved in laying the water pipes. The successful completion of this pilot project is a prerequisite for further steps.
